This is a taster of our workshops and talks from our previous event. New schedule due to be announced on 1st June 2019. All to be included in your ticket price. You will be able to enjoy your perfect day of creativity, movement, talking, discussions, evolving, learning, mindfulness, laughing, connecting, relaxing and transforming.
If you fancy getting deep down expressive and instinctively creative with colour, texture and even a bit of sparkle, whilst also getting your groove on to some seriously deep and emotive musical goodness, then this beat-tastic, art therapy workshop is for you. This beautiful blend of abstract expression, mark making, mixed media exploration, subconscious emotional representation and musical mastery will leave you fizzing with energy, bursting full of creative excitement and revelling in a bright, vibrant and experimental explosion of joy!
Discover the benefits of mindful journaling as I guide you through the creation of your own mindfulness journal. The intention is for you to reflect on your own ways of being and thinking and to offer you the opportunity to explore how journaling can help you declutter your mind. Mindfulness offers positive strategies for bringing awareness to our thoughts. A journal is a wonderful tool for this purpose, enabling you to offload and organise your thoughts, to move from cluttered thinking to finding a sense of clarity and calm. The act of writing in itself enables you to occupy your right brain (creative, intuitive) state so journaling also offers important creative time out from the daily to do list. Bring a notebook or journal that you can dedicate to this purpose and join us for some mindful, calming creative expression and find out how journaling can enhance your wellbeing.
Rest back and have fun learning how to use pure grade fragrant essential oils to make 100% natural skin care products. By using a few simple ingredients you will create your own detoxifying and uplifting body scrub to take home, while gaining a deeper insight into the healing and mood enhancing benefits of essential oils. Finally, bliss out with a guided relaxation to ease away tensions and rejuvenate body and soul.
When we engage in creative arts, in this case masks, the subconscious has a chance to explore and release what it feels is appropriate. We all wear masks be that to project something we are not or to protect ourselves. Often we are so intent on focussing on the outward projection that we don't allow our awareness to rest on what is the true self hiding behind the mask. In this workshop I create a safe space for you to explore, feel and express external and internal emotions with the use of art, metaphor and imagery.
REST AND DIGEST A workshop with Feed to awaken your senses and kick start your digestion. We will remind you how to eat more consciously in today's busy world. In the workshop we will demonstrate a practice to awaken senses and kick start digestion, discuss and give away tips and simple ideas to inspire. Attendees will also receive a free sample to spring them off into the next session!
Feel like your boobs are too small, too big, wonky, too saggy, too scarred, too hairy, all nipple, no nipple? 'NO WAY!', we say. There is no right or wrong way to have boobs and their diversity and difference is what makes them so damn enjoyable. If you don't believe us then come and explore your feelings with us in a special RESTFEST Boob Printing workshop. Come paint, print and celebrate the awesomeness of your breasts in a totally safe, non-sexual, supportive and creative environment.
Harness the power of your inner wisdom to connect to your intuition, and dial up your creativity through creative mindfulness. This interactive session combines simple action to creative positive change in your life all with with a little everyday Practical Magic.
The founder of The Float Spa will share her personal journey into finding the benefits of floatation therapy. Including how to manage stress, pain and anxiety in a relaxing environment free from the effects of gravity and sensory input.
Every woman knows that voice, don’t they? That repetitive, loud inner bitch inside our heads. That inner dialogue that’s like a permanent radio broadcast telling us why we aren’t good enough, who do we think we are? Reminding us of our failures, catastrophising all the "what ifs"….. The truth is…. It exists with in every person on this planet. Our inner critic is there to keep us safe. To encourage you to playing small and familiar. Even the most successful people on the planet have this voice….. they’ve just learnt how to quieten it. Within this interactive workshop, Naomi will explain how you can use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to learn to turn the volume down and focus on what we really want without the inner critic getting it’s own way.

Anna believes everyone has Angels who want to help us with anything that will bring us peace - but we must ask. In this workshop, Anna will lead you through a meditation to help you connect with and meet your Guardian Angel to receive clarity, support and inspiration. She'll also be sharing some Angel messages and you'll each receive a card to take home with you.
Lay down and let Louise guide you through a Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) to help the body and mind let go, she will then play healing sound instruments to wash over you, guiding you into a deep state of relaxation and restoration. A lovely day at Restfest, My husband said I was beaming when I returned home. Saving the date for March 2019. Thank you for a smashing day. It was great to spend a special day with my tribe and meet awesome new ladies too.
I had the most magical day at Restfest 2018. I feel like I have a new vibration for my dreams and goals. I’ve been inspired by stories of the all the women I met on the day. The journey hasn’t been easy but the passion, devotion, enthusiasm and drive is what sets these women apart. Sharing their dreams with us at Restfest made me want to reach for my dreams even harder. Everything is possible and my cup is now full because of Restfest. Easily the best event I have been to this year. Everything was well thought out and you could tell a lot of energy went into organising and putting together an event like this. Roll on Restfest 2019.
Thank you, Naomi, for having the vision, courage and willingness to organise #busymumsdayoff day retreat. It was amazing and I’m still doing everything I learnt whilst relaxing to improve my life and myself and in the spirit of Wild Motherhood creative writing... I’m just flowing with memories, hooping, zen doodling, relaxing massage, delicious food, hydration, inspiring quotes and books, cosy places, beanbags, comfort and fun, relaxing and chatting, learning who I am a little more, growing in my self-confidence daily because of my day off. Because of you, I’m a better mum, a better person and inspired by the teachers and mentors you introduced me to. And all the other lovely women that I met. It feels like the start of a a journey. I relax more. I take time for me and am still hooping – I’ve lost 2cm from my belly! You also made sure I could indulge my taste buds with plenty of dairy free options. I’ll be coming again – Every busy woman deserves the ultimate day off.
