Taste of Space
I completed a British Acupuncture Council accredited BSc (hons) degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Westminster University in 2008 and have since practised acupuncture in several locations in London including the NHS Gateway project for chronic pain, low cost community projects and a number of health and wellbeing clinics.
For several years I was employed at Kids Company as centre manager of a multi-disciplinary therapy centre in South London that provided mental health support for vulnerable children, young people and their families. Working closely with psychotherapists, I developed a strong interest and have gained wide experience in the use of acupuncture for the management of trauma and stress related conditions such as anxiety, depression, insomnia and PTSD. I’m constantly in awe of the effectiveness of acupuncture to release tension and restore balance on all levels; physically, emotionally and mentally allowing us to lead happier and more fulfilled lives.
I’ve completed post-graduate acupuncture related training in the management of pain and chronic conditions, sports injuries, stroke recovery, pregnancy and obstetrics and overcoming trauma. I’ve also organised and assisted with the teaching at a number of facial acupuncture professional training workshops.
I currently run Taste of Space community space in Worthing at Salt Water Studios and at E5 Acupuncture in London on Thursdays.
