Katherine Kimber

Katherine Kimber is a non-diet Registered Dietitan and Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor. She is on a mission to set you free from food restriction and confusing nutrition information. She helps those who want to get off the diet train for good, but who are stuck in the cycle of swinging between diet land (being ‘good’), and doughnut land (“falling off the wagon”). She supports those who are struggling with food guilt, food anxieties, regularly emotional eating, overeating, binge-eating, yo-yo dieting, and feeling a little trapped or confused about what and how to eat. She has an NHS background and is trained to support with medical conditions like disordered eating, eating disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes and high cholesterol. 
 
Katherine has completed an extensive amount of formal education and training with a first class degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from King’s College London, and a distinction in her Masters in Clinical Research. She is also highly experienced in providing motivational support and holds a Diploma in Neurolinguistic Programming. Katherine is passionate about helping you reach your happiest and healthiest self without dieting and deprivation.

Do you trust your own body to tell you what to eat, when to eat and how much to eat? Or do you rely on external tools like rules, calories, point systems and meal planning to keep you in check? My session will focus on helping you take your power back and on relearning how to let your body take charge! Using some simple techniques, we can begin to unlearn the messages we’ve been told about our bodies and how this has interfered with our relationship with food. The workshop will help you to learn to tune into the messages our bodies are sending via hunger and fullness, but also paying attention to satisfaction and cravings. I will be sharing practical tools and guidance to give you the confidence to feel the freedom to eat naturally and normally on your own terms. I can’t wait to meet you – an of course there will be chocolate involved!
